Drop-In Family Market (formerly Sammy's) — Local services in Forest City

I’ve went to this store for many years, before it ever became drop inn. I’ve never had any complaints. It’s a good place to grab a bite to eat or buy your steak. You can tell the selection isn’t the same but it’s still better then anywhere else. The only complaint I do have is when you call in to order pizza. At any store I’ve been to that had hunts brother pizza. You could order the pizza with extra cheese and/or extra sauce. At this drop in their answer is it comes frozen that way. Also if you want pineapple on your pizza you have to by the can of pineapple. Also idk when this became a thing but If your having to charge your customers for the condiments that’s ridiculous. I’m sorry your one cup of ranch does not cut it. But the most annoying thing that happens here is when you cut the sweet and sour sauce with water. Nobody wants a tasteless colored water to dip their egg roll in. It’s an insult to your customers...

Sammy's is the best supermarket in Bostic. Lol. It's the only supermarket in Bostic, but even if it wasn't the only, it would still be the best. Sammy Green owns and operates the store, his sister and wife work there, too and that gives it a down home flavor.
