Kennedale Trading Post (KTP) — Local services in Forest Hill

Kennedale trading post, this was a very important experience in my life. I walked in and felt at home. This place has all of the nostalgia and dopamine hits any gamer could ask for. You walk through this store and you will see toys, posters, retro game systems that are turned on and waiting for you to pick up the controller. You will come across things in this store that you remember playing with as a kid growing up in the 90s through the early 2000’s.

You will be treated with real genuine kindness from the owners. This is a true mom and pop shop. The owners were so kind and genuinely cared about your experience in their store. I could go on and on about how great they are. While I was standing in the store, many people came in to just hang out and it really brought me back to game stop midnight releases. At one point, there were five or so of us grown men all standing around talking about Pokémon and then started quoting nacho libre. It really just hit me how simple life used to be when we could just go to a video game store and hang out in our environment. Some go to the bar… some go to the video game store.

This store reminded me of who i am at my core. Kennedale trading post is keeping the gamers experience alive.

I brought my entire child hood worth of video games and memorabilia to this store to see what they would offer for it. I have to say… I was shocked at how much money this stuff is worth. They really do offer you top dollar and they are very upfront and honest. They were so fast!! They looked through all of my stuff and quoted me so quickly. I remember bringing a box into GameStop back in the day and it would take hours!! (See the pictures of all of the stuff!! They bought everything!). You will not be disappointed in their offers.

Kennedale Trading Post is hands-down one of our favorite spots for retro games and collectibles. We’ve been fans for a while now, and every visit just reinforces why we keep coming back. The selection is ever changing and beyond impressive. They've always got old-school classics and hidden gems you didn’t even know you needed. The prices are also always exceptional.

What really sets them apart is the service. The owners go above and beyond. They’ve always taken great care of us, whether we’re trading in or adding to the collection. It’s clear they care about their customers and the community, not just making a sale.

This place is operated by a beautiful family that has a joy and passion for what you are coming in for.

This place BLOWS AWAY any other dfw figure/hobby shop.

I have heard the owner over the phone doing fair deal business. I have heard the owners discuss fairness and giving kind deals amongst themselves.

They are real, kind, genuine people. I am thankful to cross their path.
