We stayed at Mossqutach for a few nights during a road trip. My family and I absolutely loved it. We chose a canvas tent with two beds, both of which included a trundle. Each site is very private and spaced apart comfortably. All include a picnic table, seating area, fire pit, covered trash bin, cooking shack and outdoor sink. The cooking shack well equipped with everything you could possible need including pans, disposable plates, paper towels, cooking spray, lighter, etc. There is firewood available throughout the property. The tent was clean and comfortable. We were located close to the showers and flushing toilet which was convenient. There are also many clean outhouses available throughout the resort. We enjoyed the hand built sauna as well as the private hiking trails on site. My kids loved the lawn games and zip line, as well as the bunnies running around the lawn. The entire property is very well thought out and you can tell how much thought and care has gone into it. The highlight for us was the camp host Ronnie. He was incredibly warm, welcoming, hardworking and extremely helpful. We also met the owner Jerry who was also very kind and as gracious enough to give us a peak at the cabins which were very cozy and well appointed. I could honestly go on and on. The property has many unique and fun elements that make this place very special. My kids didn’t want to leave! We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Forks. The resort is only about 10-15 away from the town center where you can get gas and food. Thank you Ronnie and Jerry! We hope to visit...
Read moreABSOLUTELY A GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!
I was genuinely shocked of how under promoted this place truly is!
The amenities were just keep coming and coming as a surprise, cause there were no prior information about It online while booking.
This glamping location has few cabins available on their separate field and about 12-14 tents, which are privately separated from each other.
Resort includes: Fire pit with a ready to use logs. Outdoor kitchen with all the tools needed to have a breakfast and dinner and etc. Sauna. Even their own made trails to creeks and waterfalls A camp style zip-lines, swings, playgrounds Outdoor shower an indoor shower.
The place is heavily decorated with beautiful pieces made of trees with a fairy-tale design. One of the best parts is a keeper of this place, who takes such a great and nuanced care of this location.
I had my doubts before coming to stay with the resort, but it turned out to be super safe and the best staying experience I ever had on vacation!
The only CON and criticism that I would have is that be ready for a cold shower (indoor) since the pump is not that great for hot water to run and I hope the place will figure out the way. I'm from the East Coast, so if I'll ever visit the park again, there is no other place rather than this resort I would stay at. I wish them even more prosperity and...
Read moreWe just left Mossquatch yesterday after two nights and I have to say that was the best accomodation I think we’ve ever stayed in, including all hotels/resorts/airBnB, you name it. The most comfortable bedding, the off-grid nature of the site and how the caretakers have thought of virtually everything—make it a must to book. Hotter shower than I’m getting now in my next hotel 3 hours away in a different national park area, quieter surroundings, and such a cool atmosphere with all the bunnies roaming around and the white noise of the rain on the canopy. You cannot beat this location! Ronnie was very nice and great to talk to, as well! If we were staying again we would have made better use of their provided cook shacks so we didn’t spend so much time driving to Forks or La Push restaurants. They truly have everything you need already there! I feel bad for the folks staying in Port Angeles when there is such a gem so close to Rialto Beach! They don’t know what...
