One of the most unorganized , inconsistent, poor communicating facilities in the DFW area! If u donât have to, DO NOT take any routes from them. In the event that you do, be sure to make sure the pay is worth the unprofessional nonsense that you are likely to encounter. Ericka has the nastiest attitude, and the people working with her are just as bad. For example: I arrived at 3:15 for a 3.5 hour shift. âNormallyâ they have someone at a podium scanning IDs. However, this particular day, after waiting at the launch line, she began to yell to the people who were at the end of the line to âjust go around!â Opposed to just letting everyone know that things would be different that particular day and to not wait to be scanned in, just pull around to be assisted. Once people realized what was going on that made some drivers upset, because people who arrived after them were now ahead of them. She went on to say, âwell, thatâs what happens when people donât listen!â They also rush u to load your vehicle. You get 10 mins before threats of the launch pad leaving start, unless you are a friend of an employee. Keep in mind, this isnât an âABCDâ route layout, itâs a chronological layout, which calls for every package to be scanned in individually, some routes containing close to 40-50 packages. To put the icing on the cake on this particularly beautiful, after being hounded and pestered about the 10 minute loading time, most of us were packed up and ready to go. However, the very first car (friend of the employees) was not ready to go. Therefore the lane she was (lane 1) could not pull of and start making deliveries. Of course, everyone was getting aggravated AGAIN, so people from lane 1 started to merge into lane 2 so that we could start making our deliveries. Out of all things, the woman that was moving the ropes to let us out (she had an Afro, not Ericka) had the nerve to say, âI ainât tell yâall to do that!â So even if you are desperate do not ever take a route in Forney unless it pays extremely well for YOUR TIME and THEIR LACK OF...
Read moreVery very large warehouse with pickup drive lanes on both sides of the building. Signage is not clear where flex drivers should go, and 3 of us went to the wrong side our first time there. I went inside and asked and the employee was friendly and told us where to go. I went outside and motioned the other lost folks to follow me and we got our pickups on time.
Possibly unrelated but I do want to share our Amazon flex experience in reference to our first and only (so far) block we delivered and attempted to deliver for an hour and a half past our scheduled block time.
We were sent to edgewood, wills point and other places in that area including vzcr's and other unnamed roads. Our gps completely stopped working, we had no cell service whatsoever and had to drive almost completely back to Canton to get cell service to contact driver support. Driver support was unhelpful the first few calls but we finally got a native English speaker and he understood and gave us clear instructions. After attempting more deliveries, The Amazon flex app wouldn't even open to let us scan our packages because there was no cell service, so we took the remaining packages back to the forney location, with quite a bit of hassle. There seemed to be a lot of returns at that time. In the end and after a few phone calls back and forth, everything was sorted, and we got a $ adjustment to our block time. That was our first and last forney pickup for a while. That route was a nightmare to put it lightly. 150 miles travelled between pickup and drop off of returned packages. I don't think every block is like this. We just had an awful time with this...
Read moreU should NOT hire delivery drivers for rural areas that are scared of dogs!!!! Especially dogs that are just laying in the yard, not posturing or being aggressive in any way! Iâve lived at my location for 11 yrs and have never had a problem until recently. A driver literally just pulled up in my yard, saw a 10 year old lazy dog that barely moves, thatâs not the least bit aggressiveâŚdidnât honk their horn or anything and just left with my packages that I needed today and marked it as undeliverable due to dog hazard!! I could understand if a dog was barking/growling, etcâŚbut to just see a dog laying in the yard and say nope is ridiculous for someone who delivers pkgs. I get up to 10 deliveries a week from all different delivery services and have never had one just pull up and leave without at least honking their horn. BEYOND...
