Our experience with Fort Cobb meat locker the worst we have ever had, there is no understanding how they cut the meat. I’ve never seen cuts of beef cut in the way they cut it. More fat and bones in steaks and roasts. Supposed to have 2 sirloin steaks to a package and instead they cut one large steak so big it wouldn’t even fit a a turkey platter, after cutting it in half one side had about an 8 oz steak and the other side had two maybe 3 little may6 oz or less steaks after cutting huge chunks of hard fat and bone. Rump Roast with more hard fat and bone than meat. I really don’t believe that it was the beef that they processed for us that we purchased from a producer but just how it was cut up. We bout a half beef from a local rancher who does produce good beef but for some reason they had it processed at Fort Coob locker . We have never had meat produced from them before. Have been very pleased in the past with the quality of beef each and every time. However this time “All” of my steaks were actually half fat and half beef and in some (as in the pics) 3/4 of the steak was fat. My T-Bones didn’t have beef on both sides of the bone. I know with the amount of money I paid for this I should have looked at my purchase before leaving however have never had an issue in the past.
