The Voyageur Boat Tours — Local services in Fort Frances

The boat trip is around the top part of Voyageurs National Park, right along the Canadian border. Its certainly worth doing and you get to see a lot of the park, however there is not that much to see. There were a few eagles, but at a distance, so you need binoculars or a good camera, not something you can take pictures of with your phone. The staff were wonderful and full of great information but the Grand Tour attractions were not very interesting. The best part was being on a large boat and the views from the top. If you have to choose, Kettle Falls, I.W. Stevens resort and Ellsworth rock garden were much more interresting. Little American island was a small island you could walk in less than 10 minutes and the old mines are just holes in the ground filled with water.
