Stores like this one are the exact reasons why people go out of town to shop. I came to accept that Murdoch's is just an extremely overpriced store, however that is the way it is. What really makes this store worthless though is the fact that they can't seem to keep their store stocked. They are consistently out of feeds, hays, and propane. This being a small farm community these are three of the major things that people in our community need on a consistent basis. I am failing to understand how this store can consistently run out of so many things that so many people need on a regular basis. Do you not understand the concept of putting an order in before you run out of something? You know, like the rest of the world does? Set yourself a guide, when you get down so low put in the order so that it gets there before you run out. At this point I'm not really understanding how this sore survives. I have found another store that I will be using from here on out. I have to drive 50 mi to get there but it's worth it to know that they will have everything I need. Get a grip...

When i was in Murdochs today, I seen one of the most inappropriate interactions and mistreatment on an employee I have ever witnessed. Yet alone, on the sales floor in front of piers and where customer service is provided IN FRONT of a customer? Such as myself. Is respect for the individual not a thing anymore? Or even better, treating others the way that you want to be treated? I am assuming the short brown haired woman was a Manager? But her name tag said Elise. She pulled an associate aside and reprimanded her, for talking to her coworkers behind a counter. What kind of place doesn't want you having social skills in the work place? I will not be spending my money in this location any more. Kudos to the associate for taking that kind of Mistreatment. I hope you stood up...

The store is located just a few minutes from I76. It is clean and has much of what one might need for their garden or livestock, although i can't ever seem to find rabbit food?? The employees are helpful and friendly. They have nice clothes and other merch but their clothes can be a bit pricey. Found a lovely dress but it was $50 which is a little out of budget for people like me. Lol

I look forward to chick season here -my chicks have always been healthy and happy but because of their location (i believe), they tend to sell out of their chicks FAST. I had to call frequently to see when they came in then hustle over there to have any chance of getting some.
