With this place in town, you should never visit the internet again for your RC needs. Their prices are better than MOST internet prices AND you can get it the day you need it. I broke my sons rc car (see pics below) he just bought and needed to fix it for obvious reasons. After looking online and filling my shopping cart with parts needed, I started calling local. The first company I called was closer and they are a national chain. They did NOT have the first item that I called out. So I called Battlefield RC next and they had every part IN STOCK.
So on lunch, I drove down. I walked in and even though the staff member was with someone he acknowledged me. Then took me right over to the parts and as I told him what was needed, he just grabbed the parts and handed them to me. He seemed to know the part numbers off the top of his head for the lower chasis, upper chasis, bulkhead, strap, shocks. He then looked the car over to make certain we weren't missing anything. then he noticed that I only needed a piece of a shock instead of the entire shock. So he went back and got the piece that I needed and put the more expensive shocks up. After the purchase, we had a nice quick conversation and then I had to get back to work. I could not ask for a better experience! Thank you!

Read moreRC parts, kits, radios, lipo's & chargers, building supplies. I fly planes, bash off-road, race 1/28 & 1/24 on-road, and build models for whatever crosses my mind. Anytime I stop by, they have it in stock. I'm from Tampa and R/C there is a huge for almost everything. I was amazed to find an R/C only store that's better-stocked than the big overpriced shops there, and has better prices. Most stuff here is competitively priced, even with the "From China"shippers online. And no shipping means "I got this today!" Instead of "Well, I ordered this today....oh, uh maybe 6 weeks, huh...." . They repair stuff, can't vouch for it first-hand but by the volume of stuff I've seen, and based on their knowledge of parts and the rest of the operation I have faith they know a little bit more than the usual teen slacker at a box store. Nice range of product grades from economy to "Fastest!! I must have that!!" I probably sound like a shill, but I'm actually kinda jaded and wary of most hobby shops, I check prices online, etc. I don't bother with that here. If they have it, it's always the better deal. Honest, not paid for review. I'm just an impressed customer giving a well deserved review, an online review,...
Read moreDirty, dark and disorganized. I guess there's something to be said for being the only shop in town. First and last time visiting this establishment, and felt I'd wasted the half drive to get there. Word of advice to the owner: While I fully respect your right to run your business as you choose, don't put merchandise on your shelves unless you intend to sell it. You clearly have enough space to store your private collection elsewhere. Telling customers that new, in box items, with price tags are not for sale, is frustrating and guarantees they won't ever return. I'd rather drive the extra hour to Huntsville to RC Hobbies. At least their shop is clean and well lit; AND they'll sell me anything...
