The building istelf is really nice and newer which can be a vit of a let down once you actually get inside as the experience is fairly lack luster and leaves a lot to be desired. Very small aracde area & The 2 of the best arcade games are almost always out of order, which for such a small arcade it really can't be like that. It really limits the kids. Its nice to have the option of going here for us families with little kids, as we dont have a tone of places like this in our area for the kids, but they really need to make sure their arcade games are working so you can fully enjoy your time and the money you're spending to have access to it. It's kind of an overrated Chuck-E-cheese IMO. It's also incredibly hard to book a birthday party as they barely make any attempt to call you back. They also have a tendency to double book which is just incredibly bad business practice, especially for what they charge you. You're better off just showing up with a group to hang out instead of being overcharged for a "Party" and then getting cut short on the time you payed for because they double booked the party space. Which is one of the the smallest party spaces ever btw. Some of the staff is wonderful while a lot of the others are incredibly rude and seem to not want to be there. Overall, it's an ok space, nice to have for a family outing, but not a place to have above and beyond expectations and...
Read moreThis is a cool location and I'm glad to have it in Humboldt but I was a tiny bit disappointed as an adult! We went mainly for the arcade but it was primarily just games of chance (not a surprise at a casino!), And they were all just ticket games. Kids'll like that, but I was hoping for some better arcade games. A few classics and hopefully some modern ones... maybe a Japanese import or two. (No DDR? Can you even be called an arcade without it?!) The Crane games were BS, just like always.
But really it was just carnival games and "big iPad app" style games. Also, the tickets are all tracked digitally with a card, as well as your tokens. Overall, only about 20 games in the arcade, plus bowling and a snack bar. The ticket counter is also pretty slow and the rewards aren't that great, but that's basically normal for these kinds of places. They ran out of the one cute style of plushies while we were there and a few kids were sad, lol.
Overall, a good place for a family or a kids bday party, and the bowling looks as good as anywhere, but the arcade is underwhelming. There is a fake beer pong game for kids there, though, that's really fun, and see if you can beat my high score of 107 on the piano...
Read moreI booked a laser tag party a month in advance with the party room. Specifically with the room because i have 3 littles under 3. A bowling party was obviously scheduled for the same time as us. I reserved the room from 5-7 but wasn’t allowed in until 5:05 (even though we showed up at 4:30) because they had already decorated for the little girls bowling party. We got notice at 5:51 that another party started at 6 so we had to leave the room that we had only been in for 45 minutes. Once we were out of the room, they moved the bowling party into the room they just kicked us out of and they were able to resume the rest of theirs while we sat in the lobby waiting on our kids in the laser tag room to finish. I should also add that I got a call an hour before my party to confirm I had the room. Never once did anyone mention that I would only get an hour. Terrible.
Update: they responded to my review but I called and she took my information then never heard back...
