A quaint fixture from the past, this is a must visit whenever you pass through Fossil. Established in the early 1900s in a native stone building, aside from having most anything you could need or have forgotten there's many points of interest, from the original cash register, to trophy local taxidermy that aren't for sale, to local quilts that are. The original wood dairy cases and hardwood floors are something you just don't find anymore. In other words, it is an old-fashioned Mercantile from a bygone era that still exists here in Fossil.
