I had watched The Legend of Boggy Creek when I was seven years old in the UK, and after 40 years of wanting to visit, I finally got to travel to Fouke. The Monster Mart is everything I wanted it to be and more. It is part store where you can buy many things Bigfoot, as well as general groceries/Drinks. The best bit though is the wonderful museum, with fantastic displays and lots of knowledgeable information. It has sighting reports, photos and info on the movie, as well as the recent Small Town Monsters production display. Even if you are not into Bigfoot, this Mart is truly one you shouldn't surpass if you are anywhere near. Or make a special visit, as you won’t regret it. I luckily managed to meet the owner Denny, who was amazing. We chatted for quite some time, and took photos. He is truly knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome, as did his wife, Brenda, who was also lovely. Although Denny was busy, as he had a TV crew arriving the next day, he made sure that he answered every question and told me many stories which was so much appreciated. Took photos of us outside and made sure we knew where some of the recent hot spots were, and local places to visit. It was truly a fantastic visit, and I really want to thank Denny, Brenda and staff for making us all feel so welcome, and letting us spend all the time we needed. I really can’t wait to go back!

The Boggy Creek Fouke Monster Mart has stood the test of time! It all started in 1971 when the Ford's said they were attacked in their home by a monster straight out of Boggy Creek! Shortly after movie was made, tourists came, legends grew and Monster Mart Opened! It's now a convenience store, souvenir shop, museum and pizza stop all in one! The Hunt Brother's Pizza aroma fills the place with warmth while the museum amazes folks with it's plaster foot casts, movie posters and newspaper clippings! Make sure to grab a souvenir or two or ten, they have a little bit of everything!

OMG! What an absolutely awesome place. So many cool things about it. The service was great, the workers were very friendly and helpful. The museum is filled with so many neat things despite its size. There’s so much to see and look at, and you learn a lot too. The gift shop has many cool items to pick from. And the lil pizzas they have at the convenience section we’re actually very tasty!! So so so many awesome photo opps, how can you not take pictures outside with Bigfoot? Can’t wait to go back, and definitely recommend to anyone in the area or driving through! (:

Me and my husband went through here on our way back to KC the last two years. The first time we loved it and customer service was great. That's what made us come back. This year though was a little disappointed. The pizza lady was rude an didn't want to answer my question just kept saying there is a slice over there when there is two of us and that's not what I asked. And then walk away from me in middle of conversation and answer the phone like not talking to you. The guy at the register was really nice and had a conversation with us and even apologized when the gas went over what was supposed to be. We will b back next year and give another chance. I hope it's better cause I...
