I have visited this place three times and for the first two times, I enjoyed it very much. The guides were informative and even took pictures. Because of that I knew that there is plenty of time to explore the canyon.

My review mostly reflects the third time I went. This guide was not only rude and impatient but also failed to provide any meaningful information about the canyons. I found myself stepping in to explain the geological formations and historical significance of certain features to our group, based on what I remembered from my earlier visits. At one point, I had to point out the spot where the canyon gets its name, which should have been part of the guide’s job.

The situation was further complicated by the guide’s inappropriate behavior towards our group, which consisted of Asian Indians from various regions of India. He lumped us together (not cool since we were all different families who didn’t knew each other), made us feel rushed, and made derogatory comments. He even made rude remarks about our culture and asked inappropriate questions. It was particularly frustrating because, despite his hurry, our group ended up being the first to reach the top, only to wait for ten minutes for the other groups to catch up. We could have explored more and taken more pictures with peace.

This experience was a stark contrast to my previous visits. It was upsetting because I had brought guests from India to show them the beauty of the landscape and the warm hospitality of the people here. Instead, I had to apologize for the guide’s disrespectful and racist behavior, explaining that this was not representative of the experience I’d had before.

I visited in May and, unfortunately, I don’t recall the guide’s name, but he was an older man. This experience highlights the need for staff training on cultural sensitivity and respect. It’s essential that all visitors feel welcome and respected, especially considering that many people travel from far and invest significant resources to visit these remote and beautiful landscapes. As your website suggests, the experience should include not only beautiful views and photo opportunities but also an informative and respectful guided tour.

I hope this feedback helps in improving your services, ensuring that all guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the area without encountering disrespectful behavior from the staff. At the end of the day, we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of...

After reading several reviews about how beautiful Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon were but also how incredibly crowded the tours seemed to be, I dug deeper into my search for slot canyon tours and stumbled upon a hidden gem only 7 miles from Antelope Canyon. It’s called Cardiac Canyon (which is a separate tour offered through Antelope Canyon X by Taadidiin Tours)! This tour is run by a family who places much more emphasis on the overall experience of enjoying the tranquility and the indescribable beauty of the canyon without the crowds. They book a maximum of 14 people per tour and although it is more expensive than the other canyon tours, it’s also 4 hours long! Once you’re in the canyon, every couple of steps you take and every corner you turn provides another new and unique design with the sun casting beautiful shadows and beams of light across the undulating Navajo sandstone landscape. Don’t forget to often look up and to look behind you to reveal yet another exclusive and magnificent view. Although you will be tempted to take many photos, please do reserve some time to just breathe deeply and enjoy the moment in your surroundings. Trust me, you don’t need 500 photos because every photo that you do take, will be phenomenal. Quite honestly, it’s almost sensory overload - your eyes will appreciate the exquisite beauty of the shimmering rock formations with its shifting colours, shapes and curves, your ears will welcome the peaceful tranquility, your fingers will explore the unique gritty waves of the Navajo sandstone walls. Overall, your entire experience will just plain be good for the soul. We had 2 exceptional guides (Marko and Brandon), who expertly maneuvered us through the twists and turns of the canyon, assisting us up and down the ladders and ropes (when needed) and throwing sand in the path of the light beams so that they showed up better for our photos. They pointed out interesting facts about the canyon and were quick to answer any questions or to take our group photos. I appreciated that they didn’t rush us at all (which was possible because we were such a small group) and that they basically just stayed in the background, allowing us to savour each moment as if we were in that canyon all by ourselves. So, would I recommend this tour to you? Absolutely yes, yes and yes! You simply will not be disappointed! I am already looking forward to a return visit in the...

We had a great experience with Taadidiin! From the very beginning - starting at their website- they were very informative and straightforward.

They sent multiple confirmation emails along with details about the time difference, how and where to arrive and what to expect.

Upon arrival at their departure location, there is a very large parking lot fit for any size vehicle including RVs and campers. There was a tour bus there when we arrived. The woman at the check-in desk was helpful and kind. I was afraid seeing all the cars (and tour bus) in the parking lot that this tiny slot canyons were going to be a mad house. It was the opposite.

They were extremely organized breaking down a large 40ish group into vans of ten by calling out names and assigning parties to tour vans. Once all the vans arrived at the slot canyons each group of ten was given a tour guide.

In the slot canyons each group when different directions to spread out the traffic. There were many times when my husband and I were standing in the canyon by ourselves.

The views are unimaginable. Absolutely stunning. and there were NO CROWDS. No one in our photos.

The Upper Antelope Canyon is an A shaped canyon which you have to pay over $100 per person for and the lower is a V shaped canyon which you pay over $80 for… but this tour gave you an A shaped and V shaped for MUCH cheaper.

You are missing NOTHING by not visiting THE Upper or Lower Antelope canyon. You are gaining a great and headache feee experience. I believe our tour guide said there were 12 slot canyons off of antelope canyon. There are 5 tours running out of the upper, 3 running the lower and only one in Canyon X. The most popular have just been running the longest, this is still just as beautiful! TRULY.

Our guide was fun, kind, and knowledgeable. She took photos of each individual party within our group as well.

For accessibility, the only difficult part is coming up. There’s a pretty steady decline down into the canyon. They have built stairs for the way out but it is a bit of a climb.

Seriously look no further and book this tour. You will...

Looking for your next roadtrip?🗺️ The Southwest USA is one of the best “bang for your buck” destinations because you’re able to experience so many different locations in a relatively small area. You could spend a couple days or a couple weeks exploring Utah, Arizona and Nevada. TRAVEL TIP: become an @Expedia Rewards member and book everything you need for travel on the app. With the app, you can save on trips so you can travel more and manage everything while on the go. I often get an average of 15% off on hotels and use my points for car rentals with my membership. You’d be booking these items anyways so might as well do it in once place and save money. Do yourself a favor and sign up via my stories🙂 I usually book hotels in towns like Kanab, Page, Springdale, and smaller ones in between my stpos. My favorite locations in the Southwest USA are Valley of Fire, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Zion National Park, Horseshoe Bend, Canyon X, Monument Valley, and Dead Horse State Park… and some that are on my bucketlist are Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon. #ExpediaPic #SouthwestUSA (A D)
