I have had the chance to play out here on a few occasions and have really enjoyed myself. The course is very well maintained, with desert landscapes and challenging holes. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a great day of golf. They really make each trip a little special. Great guys at the bag drop, and marshals out on the course with good recommendations to keep your ball safe! I have played when the greens have been aerated and when greens were in perfect condition. The layout of the course offers a good mix of difficulty and playability. There are some really challenging ones out there. The views of the surrounding mountains and natural scenery are great! The views are probably the best part. Lots of wildlife to enjoy was well. Rates have always been really reasonable. The clubhouse facilities are top-notch, with a well-stocked pro shop and a real nice restaurant. We usually get a burrito before we start our round and then a sandwich after we get done. The rough was so long that I lost 2 balls in it, it's not the US open Arizona National, I didn't notice anyone running out from off the fairway and sticking a flag next to my ball. The other problem is you many times can't actually see exactly where to hit it. So, you aim where it looks like you should hut it but upon arrival, they have grow out from the bunker or where the fairway turns, so a good shot is not rewarded. To me the greens superintendent is not following the real design of the golf course. Maybe what, 2% of the people who play here are pros. The rough was also wet, so wet you were wedging it out. The greens are very good. The tees are not level, the bunkers are not consistent, which I can accept, overall I didn't have fun and that's why I will never go back.
