The website was easy to navigate and ticket purchase and printing was a breeze. Email notification arrived quickly as well. After that the experience was mediocre at best. We arrived as they were opening; the entrance to the event was poorly marked, poorly lit and the road in was poorly maintained. One disinterested parking attendant was randomly waving a red traffic direction wand towards a line of vehicles in an unlit area.
After parking we went to get wristbands for our events, which was a simple and quick process.
The events were basic and poorly organized. The haunted houses were small, unimaginative, and rudimentary in execution. Zombie Paintball was just as poorly organized. We had a slotted 8pm paint ball event that started promptly at 8:15, after being shuffled about between lines for 25 minutes. The paint ball event was pretty dull, very low air pressure paint ball guns (not enough pressure to actually break the paint balls) lobbed paint balls at fixed targets and disinterested zombie actors.
The fast pass was a complete bust. There were no indications of where fast pass customers were to line up. Lines on the Slayer's Slaughterhouse moved at a snails pace, only to find your fast pass didn't really buy you any advantage in getting into the events.
Live entertainment was typical, but upbeat, staff at the beer garden were professional...
