The owner is very nice and helpful. Store is set up well, all items displayed nicely. When I wasn't sure what something was called she was fast to answer my questions and told me who made what product(s). I have not seen many of these things since I was a small child so I was incorrect in naming many.. I had fun showing these to my 33 year old daughter who accompanied me on this trip. Her Great Grandparents were natives of Roswell. :)
The prices were reasonable and the selection was vast from jewelry to blankets. The owner even has moccasins, which I may call her later and order some, asking her to send them to my home. Since it was the end of my trip I spent a modest amount there, but honestly could have spent a lot more.
Stop by and take a look at the vast array of her products. She has plenty of merchandise for both women and men. I submitted photo's of the outside of her building, they are still on my cell phone so I cannot include them here, now. Thanks...
Read moreI've passed by this little gem many many times on my way to Clovis. Today I finally took the opportunity to stop and see if I could find something for family members. This is an absolutely great place with various Native American pottery ( beautiful by the way), jewelry, blankets and much more. The owners are very friendly, helpful and personable. I was able to find everything that I was looking for that I knew my sister will love. I'll definitely be stopping by this little hidden gem of a store every time I'm traveling from now...
Read moreThe owner was amazing and helpful. Part of my interest was getting native made jewelry and artwork. She was very careful and forthright about where various pieces came from. It's been years since I traveled in the area, and it reminded me of the trading posts from my childhood and when I was a young adult. The Roswell kitchen is in the store, but there are beautiful pieces by native artists as well. It's a wonderful little bit of Americana.
The bear in the photo came with information about the artist...
