Canyon Overlook — Local services in Four Corners States

Beautiful area, part of dinosaur national monument. The complete monument is quite large so for only being half an hour in is well worth the drive. There is a picnic table to stop and have lunch at while enjoying the view, which is breathtaking. Can see for miles. Very quiet and peaceful. Bathrooms are located on sight. Dinosaur National Park...the canyon views were out of this world. The hidden gem of Northwest Colorado. During our visit we counted only 5 cars during the drive to the end of the road. There is parking up top and a lower lot with pit toilets, picnic tables and a trail that takes you out to the cliffs edge and some amazing views. Perhaps not the best for small children though, the final overlook has some fencing while spots along the wat are sheer cliffs. Love...
