I worked on a dietetics degree here, it was nearly impossible to get help or support without going on to campus, and even then I was given the run around. Towards the end of my degree, I realized I was missing a math class due to non-transferable credits and miscommunication due to CAC losing my transcripts several times. I contacted an advisor to be sure I chose the correct class this time. It was not my usual advisor, but they all have access to the same information. I was advised incorrectly. I learned this when my usual advisor was back from vacation and contacted me, after the drop period. Despite this being completely their fault, they refused to help me unless I came down in person to file a refund request. I was an online student who lived 90 minutes drive away with with unreliable means to get there. I was never able to resolve this, the time period between when you start earning credits and when they are no longer valid for core classes (this was my second degree so my credits were quite old when I started) came and went. I owe a lot in financial aid and I was never able to finish because I would have had to retake several credits. I never earned that degree, but I'm still paying for it. This school and its support disgusts me, be very careful and get...

My financial aid was delayed for over a month due to poor communication between staff, which caused unnecessary stress. I also returned a product to the bookstore for a refund, only for it to 'mysteriously' go missing. Most of the actual education I've received has come from my own efforts, primarily through YouTube, since much of the class material consists of outdated videos—some nearly a decade old, which are also available on YouTube. If you're considering this school, I highly recommend investing your time and money in a better educational institution that prioritizes quality and student support. P.S. Do not buy online access from the bookstore for your courses wait and buy it directly from the site! it is way cheaper $80...
Read moreThe ONLY reason I attended this college was because of the Promise for the Future Scholarship. ONLY ATTEND THIS SCHOOL IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS. If you're wanting training in trade jobs or nursing then it might be a good fit, but a majority of the administration are very uncooperative and have their own idea of what is best for you. As a 5 year student of that college, I can say from personal experience as well as from multiple other students that this college does not hold their students as their first priority. When they removed the theater courses from the curriculum, I witnessed the Central Arizona College President Jackie Elliott recommend to a student, who had decided to peruse theater since before high school, that he should look into their truck driving...
