It's an okay store, they have a lot of the funky stuff the major chains don't carry. I can get green chile powder or flake here, I've heard they carry juniper ash for making blue corn mush, stuff that Walmart or Smith's has never heard of. I go there to get soy chorizo.
They've a great deli and when I'm looking for good steaks I go to Farmer's because they have the hook-up. Like big giant fatty porterhouses sold as a t-bone, filets as big as most NY strips type pieces of meat. I learned to slow braise beef short ribs because they have such a consistent good price on them.

It was smaller than what I'm used to, but they seem to pack a lot into what space they have. There were several empty spots on shelves and the selection is not great, but just ok. I thought the best part of shopping here was the meat department. I didn't notice any empty spots here and the selection was pretty good. Read moreGross!! My boyfriend went in this morning to buy us doughnuts. He gets home and we start eating them, low and behold they are covered in GREEN MOLD!! My boyfriend took them back into the store and the woman manager and or owner/manager man looked at them and proceeded to tell us that they Were Not moldy. Their stories didn’t work together and they had excuse after excuse. My boyfriend was polite the entire time and they turned very very rude when we requested our money back.
