Food Town IGA — Local services in Four Corners States

The store was very busy on this day, 10+ people in line and Tamitha the checker was amazing, 5star all the way. I was waiting at the lottery counter with a few other folks and Tamitha was literally running back and forth between lines, always with a smile and small chat to keep folks engaged.

Another gal with zero smile stepped behind the lottery counter, she was abrupt and put out right from the beginning, her name was Fancy, she said: Do you need something? I said, Yes, I just have a few tickets to cash. Fancy said, And she couldn't help you? Then I said: she's literally been running through the store, she's very busy. Fancy said, That's her job, I have things to do too.

I'm writing because the service provided by Tamitha, the checker was amazing, the other person was inappropriate to speak of a fellow coworker in that manner, to not have been out to help the customers sooner and her "service" needs some serious help.

On the banking works my tellers would stop what they were doing and assist the line if there were 2-3 people waiting. At your store there were 10+ at the check out line and 3 or more at the lottery counter.

This was about 2pm and I left the store about 2:20pm 1/6

running, she's very busy. That's her job, I have things to do too. 2pm is just after, left at 2:20 but purchased scratch...

Truly disappointing. I recently moved to Arizona City and this store is actually in Arizona City, not Casa Grande. It is more like a glorified convenience store than an actual grocery. They do have produce, a meat department, frozen and dairy, but there selection is very limited. For instance, I wanted a specific bread. They carry it but it was way past it's best buy date. Then I was looking for Kodiak Pancake Mix, nope, they don't carry it. I needed six lemons. They had four. Plus I found them way over priced on most items. The strawberries at Fry's were 99 cents....

Love IGA. The staff is amazing and do a wonderful job in every way. At times even going out of their way. It is nice when you see the employees with a smile on their face. IGA always has everything I need in stock. Unlike the dollar general. Employees at IGA are always ready to help with a smile on their face without getting upset like the employees at dollar general which the employees are always hanging face with a extreme negative attitude when you ask for help.
