Houston's Horseback Riding — Local services in Four Corners States

Please do not use this company. I bought a gift certificate ($160) from this company so that my daughter could take my young granddaughter there for her birthday. Unfortunately we had a heartbreaking situation in our family and my daughter would not be able to take her for a few months after the certificate expired. A couple of months before the gift certificate expired I left them a voicemail and never got a response, so then emailed the owner (Bobbi Houston) three times, with only one response. I explained the situation and asked her if she could either extend the certificate or refund my credit card, and she refused saying that she could do neither and that maybe someone else could bring my granddaugher? I explained that I lived out of state and didn't have access to the certificate, and that we would most likely be buying at least one more ticket for my other granddaughter who will be 5 and able to ride now, and she didn't even bother replying to me. It pains me to know that there are heartless people out there who not only have any empathy for other people's unfortunate circumstances, but who also have no problem taking your money without providing a...

Had reservations to take the family riding here on September 05 2019. I live in Charleston South Carolina and at this time hurricane Dorian was on his way to the area. Charleston international airport close down September 04. I was scheduled to fly to Tucson September 05 at 5am. Since I didn’t give 72 hours cancellation notice I got charged for the trip anyway. I had a hotel reservation in Tucson and Williams Az. Non refundable cancellation. They understood what was happening and gave me full refund. Had a car rental and they also gave me a refund. No questions asked. I was told by someone at Houston’s horseback riding that if I show proof for all 5 members that the flight was cancel. I would get a refund. The thing is Delta is saying flight didn’t get cancelled. More or less because airport wasn’t even opened. Been waiting over ten days for responses from either place but no luck. Apparently that’s just how they conduct their business. So if any doubt you have to cancel. Just make sure you do before the 72 hours comes...

If you want an unforgettable and non- touristy horse back riding experience when visiting Tucson look no further and book with Houston’s. The minute you drive on to their ranch you’ll feel right at home. The collection of old trucks, cars and ranch equipment that reside on the sides of the road and around the ranch, also really make the overall experience very unique. We booked a sunset tour and found it extremely enjoyable. Our guide Bobbi (CEO) was super friendly, and knowledgeable about the National Park. She took the time to explain the difference between the various types of cacti we saw along our trail -including the barrel cactus, the jumping cactus and the saguaro. It was also cool to hear her describe how she grew her family business out of her love for Rodeo.
