Jodar Farms — Local services in Four Corners States

My husband and I purchased a membership in Jodar's CSA years ago, and we have stayed with them over the years because we believe in what they do. Jodar Farms cares for their animals and for practicing sustainable methods of production. I love the pork, especially the chops, hams, sausages, and shoulder roasts. If that sounds like the whole hog, you would be right! As a CSA member, I have access to some of the best chicken, duck, and turkey that we've ever prepared. Our Thanksgiving meal always features one of their turkeys. They're delicious! My family joined Jodar Farms CSA for Summer 2024 and our only regret is not joining sooner! Their eggs and meat are top notch. We really enjoy getting unwashed eggs that we can keep on the counter. They stay fresh longer and help free up fridge space. The pork is delicious. We especially like the jalapeno cheddar brats and the breakfast sausages. The split chicken breasts are delicious any way we prepare them. And, we've also enjoyed some steaks from the farm. Recently had the luck of winning a Jodar farms gift basket at a charity thing for breast cancer! I stopped by the farm and got beef, bacon, chicken, pork chops, eggs…cute place with super friendly farmers (I only met one, but assume there are more). So far I’ve tried the smoked bacon once, and I’m on here writing a review. It is that good. It would be difficult to buy bacon elsewhere. I could only imagine how good the pork chops will be.
