UPDATE: They ship! I received my items in perfect shape and in short order. Holy packed my purchases perfectly (including a hat with a large feather)). Thanks, Holly!
A true gem! Highly recommend this very cool store with a wide range of unique ( and frankly awesome) merchandise. You’ll find artisan crafted goods, men & women’s speciality clothing, vintage, snacks, jewelry, boots, hats… and much more! And the building? Intriguing for history buffs like me.
I came in for (found & bought) a Victorian repo skirt, corset, blouse, and a crazy cool hat. Holly was extremely helpful in pulling together the look I sought - all the while never pressuring me to buy. I truly appreciated her relaxed approach- she made the experience great fun for me AND my ever lovin’ hubby.
A wonderful perk? Holly packaged and shipped my finds to my home on the east coast at a very low cost. Much appreciated as we stopped by this fab store on the way to Denver airport!
The prices are quite good. In fact-I picked up that smashing handmade designer Victorian style hat at an 80% markdown. And nagged the perfect blouse at 30% off. High quality and at a bargain. Woo wee!
Next visit to Colorado? I plan to check out their Steampunk and vintage 30’s and 40’s selections. And maybe grab a bag of Denver Company chips!
Go there! You will...
Read moreI recently visited Masonville Mercantile, a charming, quirky, little gift shop perfect for finding unique gifts and trinkets.
The store had a cozy, welcoming vibe, with old western style decor.
There is a wide variety of gifts, from jewelry made here in Colorado to a zero waste, eco-friendly product section where you bring in your own container for laundry detergent or dishwashing soap... You can tell that the products in the store were carefully selected. It's definitely one of the most unique gift shops I have been in.
Masonville Mercantile opened in 1896. Currently, 2 families own and operate the gift shop.
Overall, Masonville Mercantile is a quirky shop worth the stop. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful gift or...
Read moreA happy little surprise. My group stopped here in the morning before heading up the mountain pass nearby, and since they weren't open yet enjoyed the outside first. It was fun, historical, and seemed eclectic and interesting. On the way back down, we stopped again to go inside and we were blown away. I expected a small room with some gas station swag, but the building was beautiful, fun, and just kept going further back. We talked to an employee about the history of the building, the clothing shop, how haunted it was, and fell for this little spot.
I'm looking forward to coming back with my family on a day trip to shop in the clothing boutique and grab a snack...
