TL;DR - Chef Rob was friendly, professional, and especially clean (They came during Covid). The experience was excellent and I'd recommend Privato to anybody who wants the private chef experience. It's also a great gift if you want to reward one of your employees.
My wife received a complimentary 3-course dinner for two through her workplace. We decided to use the dinner to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and everything start to finish was great. So much so, that we plan to gift Privato vouchers to friends/family in the future and even discussed having them come for other special occasions.
My wife has allergies to a few things and they asked for those proactively. We ended up going with the below courses:
First Course Spinach and Feta Stuffed Mushrooms topped with Prosciutto
Second Course Filet with King Crab legs, Smoked Gouda Mashed Potatoes, and Broccolini
Third Course Lavender Chocolate Creme Brulee
Chef Rob came promptly at 4PM and brought everything needed to make the above including pots/pans. He immediately cleaned the stovetop and cooking areas thoroughly. Additionally, he asked where things like tupperware (leftovers) and cutlery were located.
Chef Rob does this as a second job and truly loves cooking. You can tell because not only is the food delicious, but he'll passionately tell you how he's cooking everything and why he does something a certain way. He was all around very easy to talk to and not only cooked, but served us our food and cleaned everything afterwards as well. Our kitchen was left spotless and our stomachs full.

Through a simple Google search, Chef Michael Denton and another chef in the area were identified. I contacted Privato first and never looked back. He was a consummate professional. The menu of crab cakes, beet salad, butternut squash bisque, rack of lamb and halibut were outstanding. Chef Michael was very accommodating - I called him right before the class to ask if he happened to have a wine bottle opener (we couldn't find one in the house), and he offered to make a special stop at the store on his way, even though he was almost already at the house.
He was very flexible, allowing us to make a game time decision on if we wanted to take the class by actively participating and preparing the food, or watch and learn. We opted for the latter as we had spent the day in the sun and were tired. He patiently and thoroughly answered all of our cooking questions, and was able to read the group well to keep the class at a pace that worked. The meal ended up being so incredible! The group loved the food, even opting to have the leftovers for breakfast the next day!
