ROAM Outdoor Adventure Co — Local services in Four Corners States

Today we did two separate excursions with ROAM Outdoor Adventure and we couldn’t speak more highly of this tour company. First, we started our morning with Tim canyoneering, which was awesome. He was professional, helpful, informative and had a great sense of humor. We felt very safe through the entire process even as beginners. He offered to take photos, carried our water bottles and jackets in his pack and made sure we were comfortable with the pace of the day. I felt the slot canyon he took us through was very exciting with a nice range of repels and obstacles. I definitely recommend this tour for people of all ages. My mother is in her 60s and was capable of doing everything.

We then had lunch in town and returned to meet Mikey for our first experience on the via ferrata. He took us into their private canyon which was absolutely gorgeous and had some interesting history (you’ll just have to book the trip to hear it yourself). We couldn’t speak more highly of our guides. Mikey was super knowledgeable, very experienced, kind, and we also were laughing the whole time. We didn’t feel comfortable bringing a phone so Mikey kindly took great pictures and videos ,which he sent us after. This was one of the coolest adventure experiences we have ever had. It was exhilarating but we still felt safe and secure. Mikey does a great job of encouraging and coaching you through the entire process. We were rewarded with water and root beer at the top. The final repel was a great ending to an amazing day of adventure with ROAM. Every aspect felt well planned, paced, and flowed smoothly. We will hopefully be back...

An Unforgettable Adventure with ROAM!

Our family had the absolute BEST time with ROAM on a UTV adventure through the red slot canyons! From start to finish, it was an experience we’ll never forget. Our incredible guides, Coleman (aka Tarzan) and Zage, truly made the day magical with their infectious energy, local knowledge, and knack for making every moment fun and memorable.

The scenery was breathtakingly stunning! The red slot canyons were unlike anything we’ve ever seen—pictures can’t do them justice. Coleman and Zage’s photography skills were the icing on the cake; they showed us tricks to capture the perfect family photos, and honestly, every single shot is frame-worthy.

We had a group of 11, ranging from a 3-year-old to teenagers, two couples, and even our dog, Copper—a spirited Vizsla who had the time of his life exploring the canyons (he didn’t want to leave!). Everyone, no matter their age, agreed this was the highlight of our entire trip.

The guides’ knowledge of the area was impressive. They shared fascinating stories about the landmarks, history, and even petroglyphs, all while keeping us entertained with their humor and adventurous spirit. We felt completely safe the entire time but couldn’t stop laughing, screaming, and enjoying every thrilling moment.

ROAM delivered an unforgettable experience, but Coleman and Zage were truly the stars of the day. Their passion for the area and their dedication to giving us the best possible adventure shone through. Thank you for an incredible day—we’re already looking forward to our next ROAM adventure!

My son had a once in a lifetime trip to Orderville, thanks entirely to everyone at ROAM. We were lucky to ago on the Peekaboo, Four-Hour Rappelling, and the new Coral Pink Sand Dunes tour! Ted was the best guide, and JC, Rob, Keith, and Time were so amazing and went so above and beyond in making your tours unforgettable and so much fun. May son and I are still smiling from all the memories, and he plans to save up so we can come back and do the same tours again. And Joe in the office gave us the best advice on what to do according to our schedule and budget. And Lexi gave us great advice to try a tour I thought was too hard - she really knows what people can do, even if they don't think so themselves. And I found it hard to believe that these tour would be able to replace the long trip to Spooky Gulch and that Peekaboo near the Zebra Slot canyon, or the long trip to the super crowded Antelope Slot Canyon, so I made plans to try and get to them even though we didn't really have the time. As soon as we began the first tour with them, I knew we didn't have to make the long drives to the others, and we could spend out time in the area at Zion and Bryce, and really enjoy the places we went to and take our time. Ted and JC, Rob and Keith, and Tim were all so really, really great guides. And Joe gave us advice about what to do with our extra time in the area.
