A MUST GO! Quick backstory for context; My family of 5 went on our very first vacation earlier this year. We homeschool, & 2 of our 3 kiddos are special needs..we drove all day and stopped as much as possible.... we were tired and hungry but we didn't want to miss this amazing place. We planned every single stop with a lot of thought, to STAY local, and to learn as much as possible. When you pull up wait a little, these folks don't spend all day in the shop so please be patient, it's family owned and the owner comes down and greets customers at the door. Man let me tell you , when we walked in I was super grateful because the owner was so sweet to my babies patient with me asking all the questions, my kiddos asking all the questions, also we were looking for anything to use a material for school. The owner was like BET I got you mama! She hooked us up and my kids and I are still talking about this place and all the stuff we bought! She was so knowledgeable, we learned so much! I hope they are still there next time we come through. it really was one of our top 3 favorite spots! A treasure stop to stop at! To the owner again, THANK YOU! We hope to see you again soon! ( A pic of the biggest piece I brought home, I asked her to pick it out for me, a memory I will cherish forever!)

This is one of my favorite places in Arizona. I love the art and hope some more of it can be restored. The dinosaurs and decorations are one of a kind. I hope they get a male ostrich, so I can buy eggs again. Bought several beautiful pieces of petrified wood. Been coming to this store since 2002. I always feed the ostriches and find something I want to buy. The Stewart's are very nice people. Last week the store was closed, but they saw me by the ostriches and opened up for me. This is a route 66 must see. Feed the ostriches and find a souvenir. Another suggestion I have for the owners is to sell cold soft drinks. Otherwise it is perfect.

Worth a stop if you need a road trip break and want to see and feed some ostriches but store is really dusty and rickety they do have some nice rocks if you're into that. But really the only reason to stop would be too feed the ostriches and stretch your legs a little bit. The ostriches make it worth a stop but no other reason to stop here. Because there are a few other places right there you can stop instead. Owners are very nice.

I guess I must have talked to someone other than the nice lady everyone else is describing in their reviews, because the lady whom I just spoke to on the phone was incredibly curt. When I called to ask the store's hours, she barked them at me and then promptly hung up before I could say anything else. As a lapidary and jewelry artisan, I am looking to purchase quite a bit of local Arizona rainbow petrified wood. I considered Stewart's to be my first choice because of all the great reviews before mine, but to be honest, those 15 seconds on the phone have left a very bad taste in my mouth. Two stars given because I never actually went to the store (which is why I needed to know the hours!) and whoever I talked to might have been having a bad day. However, my personal...

This place is so creepy. There are all kinds of creepy statues of animals and dinosaurs outside that look mis shaped and very unnatural In so many ways. I just wanted some coffee and to use the bathroom but I went in and everything was dusty and I knew that Immediately I would not be getting a coffee there even if there was some. The people that helped us were nice but in a very creepy way. I used the bathroom and the toilet didn’t flush. But the most appalling thing about this experience is when I was peeing I looked over and in the bathtub next to the toilet there was a woman’s manniquin in there. I was so creeped out I thought it was a dead body! And there is even a dinosaur outside with a dead person’s body in its mouth. This place is twisted. I was...
