I don't even know where to begin with this review. I live in Michigan but I have a vacation home in Florida and I was referred to Arthur by numerous people so I gave him a call. We had just bought our home and came into it with an existing system that NO ONE explained to us. Quite frankly, it was stressful coming into a home where wireless devices were controlling everything and yet we had zero control of them. When Arthur came over to assess our system not only was he so helpful but he was extraordinarily kind and explained everything to us. After our initial meeting, we scheduled to have his team come in to set up our system. The following day we left to head back home and shortly after e realized our cameras at the Florida house had gone offline (not a system setup by ALS). I called Arthur in a panic and asked if there was anyway if they could fix it for us even though it was our system and not theirs. Without hesitation, his team went out of their way to fix our cameras for us. For someone like me who lives out of state and needs to keep an eye on things remotely, this was so important to us and Arthur and his team took amazing care of us and our home. ALS has been a real lifesaver for us. Even when we were struggling with poor wifi, they found a solution for us and installed an amazing system that boosted our signal throughout the house for us and our renters to us. And as most of us are working from home due to covid, having a strong and reliable wifi is imperative. In the consultation, Arthur walked through our options with us including tailoring a system for my needs and budget. A few weeks later, Thomas came out to install. Install was great, Thomas was knowledgeable and patient as he answered all the questions we had, in addition to explaining every step that was happening. The next day, when one of the sensors fell off a door, Thomas was out a few days later to fix it at no charge, and no attitude either. This is not something you’d see at adt, vivint or any security company.

After install, I asked Arthur if we could swap out some of the equipment installed, due to an altered budget and vision for the home. He again took time out of his day to help tailor another new system for me, even after install. This is the first company id give 6* to if I could.

We are so happy we went with ALS instead of one of the giant security companies. You communicate directly with the owner Arthur and it is such a wonderfully different experience from the call center runaround you get with the big security firms. Arthur and his team are a pleasure to work with and they have a level of technical expertise far above what I've seen from ADT, Brinks and the like. ALS put a security and monitoring system in our new home last year and did an outstanding job. We've also had them do some upgrades over the past year including additional cameras, heat sensors etc. Every project has been painless and well organized with the team showing up exactly when they said they would and ready to work.
