This long-time local place of business has new ownership; a new, fresh, brighter look; a diverse inventory of products; and a full menu of tasty take-out foods. I tried the haddock sandwich basket and was delighted to find a generous piece of crisp, sweet fried haddock on a fresh toasted bun, along with a hearty helping of some the best French fries to be found anywhere. Mandy's Country Store has had several renovations recently completed. Inside you'll find an inventory of grocery staples (canned goods, dry foods, snack items, as well as eggs and milk). They also have a decent selection of beer. Often there are several different take-out foods available at the counter being kept warm in a heated display. The staff is very friendly and will remember your orders if you come in regularly. They also have an ice cream window outside to help you cool off...

We got ice cream today and I'm leaving a review to let others know that the portions are really, really large. I had a small cone and it was literally the biggest ice cream I've ever had in my entire life. A kiddie cone next time, for sure. Service was super friendly and they had a good selection of Hersheys ice cream flavors, along with soft serve... happy to come...
