Jarmans Greenhouse — Local services in Franklin Township

Made our annual mother's day weekend trip on Saturday before MD. The 3 greenhouses were stuffed with every imaginable plant you could want, and some you didn't know you wanted.because our weather has been really rollercoaster, my mom asked me to wait til after predicted frigid nights the week after. We purchased a lavender, and some really fancy impatience we have only seen once before ( didn't want them to sell out). Staff is always friendly, helpful and pretty darn quick. My mother always enjoys the ability to rest along our shopping route.( She has heart problem) I only tell you this because we arrived at 5:30, they close at 6. We were able to go through all the greenhouses she wanted with rest, and never saw an employee that asked us to hurry, nudge us along , or made us feel anything but welcome. They answered questions, check prices if they didn't know. I appreciate this family business and have been coming for years . Flash a week later. Stock is down to 2 greenhouses , staff is still great, even help is load car everytime. We did buy our usual 2 flats ( cheaper than any store I've been in in last 2 weeks, regular price) On another note, they have a huge store that carries primitives , garden related items, gifts and wait for it. Hey Dude brand shoes!!! So this ticked out in the middle of no where family business has tons of reasons to go see.buy and support their endeavor. Not to mention, Chilo Dairy Bar has best food around. I usually only get ice cream, but have had BBQ which is really good! See ya next year , unless you plan on getting more...

I always feel a warm welcome when pulling up to Jarman’s. They have all your gardening needs. I also bought some seeds from them last year for veggies, and they took off and flourished very well! If gardening and flowers aren’t what you’re looking for Jarman’s has a beautiful home decor store. Everything is very rustic or farm style but it is a unique and awesome place to shop. Beautiful plants. Great selection. Boutique is adorable. But it's about the least size inclusive boutique around here by far. Most tops only go up to Large. Great for small, petite and young girls but good luck finding anything if you are bigger than a large. It actually feels blatant, like they don't want anyone shopping there that's over a size 10.
