Went for my birthday and my mom’s birthday with the whole family. It was so nice to have a private tour where it’s just family. Our driver Anna was so sweet and took pictures of our group at every stop. Texas Heritage was by far a favorite for our group, Texas grown wine, private-ish seating outside with a great view. Fatass was our second stop and was our most anticipated but least liked unfortunately. The employees were very nice but they seemed understaffed and unprepared for our group. Our table had no chairs so we were all standing with the exception of three of our group where they were able to bring some spare chairs, the waiter came and let us know our selection, a sweet tasting, one glass of red, or one glass of sweet. He left to let us think and another waiter came and ended up giving us all the sweet tasting which is what we were going to do anyways. I’m more of a dry person but had a couple from the group who liked sweet but the sweet tasting was just so sweet, most of them tasted like juice more than wine. One that I did like tasted exactly like grape kool-aid but I could just feel the headache coming on. The tasting felt rushed, some of our group weren’t done with the glass before she came back and the pours were definitely not even as the spout wasn’t working and she ended up eyeballing. Would go back to Fatass but hopefully not during a busy time. Our last stop was Messina Hof and this was also a great one, one of our favorites was the Admirals Reserve, highly recommend grabbing a bottle when you’re there. They use a coin system, 5 coins and you pick your wine and go get it from the bar. Staff was quick and informative and they have some appetizers that was just what we needed for our last stop. Overall we had a great time catching up and spending time with each other. Only thing that would’ve been a cherry on top is one of those Bluetooth karaoke mics...
Read moreI had a deeply disappointing and unprofessional experience with Peach Express during what was supposed to be a celebratory wine tour on April 19, 2025. I booked the tour for five people the morning of the event. Unfortunately, due to extremely dangerous weather conditions leaving Austin, two of my guests were involved in a serious car accident and were unable to attend. Naturally, their safety came first—but what followed was a complete failure of customer service and basic human decency.
I called the company the following Monday to explain the situation and was told someone would follow up. No one ever did. I called again that Friday, only to be met with dismissiveness and evasive responses from the same representative. He wasted my time dodging the issue for several minutes before flatly refusing any refund or compensation. He then attempted to shift the blame onto the winery and contradicted himself mid-conversation, saying the refund wasn’t possible because Peach Express had already decided against it. So which is it?
What’s most offensive is not just the lack of refund, but the dishonesty and lack of empathy from this company. I understand the existence of a 7-day policy—however, this was a same-day booking made based on their availability. Two seats went unfilled. No service was rendered. And yet, they refused to show even the slightest flexibility or care. Instead, I was lied to and treated like an inconvenience.
Peach Express failed not only in professionalism, but in basic compassion. I would strongly advise others to think twice before giving this company your money. When something goes wrong, don’t expect...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I did the public tour. It ended up being fun because of the group we ended up with but it was not what we were expecting at all. The driver, Anna was not interactive and didn’t really tell us about the wineries we were going to. She hit out with us and walked us inside each stop but did not provide any information or even make sure we were settled/seated. We also felt rushed and found the experience very unorganized. We had 3 stops: safari winery, Texas Wine Collective and Yeehaw Saloon. None of the wineries seemed to know how long we were supposed to be there so it was very rushed. The last few tastings at Safari were rushed because they did not know we were supposed to be leaving so soon. We ended up leaving a few minutes late, however when we got to Texas Wine Collective they told us we were a bit early and didn’t have our table set up. The last stop, yeehaw saloon was not a winery at all but a honky tonk kind of bar, which was fun, just not what we were expecting at all. We didn’t even do a tasting we just got drink tickets and were able to order drinks at the bar. It was a fun time but not the kind of tour we were expecting, leaving us...
