Ballville E-Z Shop Food & Beverage — Local services in Fremont

They are racist, super expensive compared to Walmart, they dont have much of a variety, they talk smack and whisper and are super negative towards us customers when it was our first experience me and my wifey. They said I was dirty bc I’m Mexican and that my wifey was burning from having HVI? Idk where all this negative comments even came from when it was our first experience. The cashier was yelling as we was leaving? That they have better meat 🥩 and yeah whatever not enough variety and super expensive. If I want that expensive meat I rather go to Sam’s, they are cheaper and you can purchase by multi pounds of pounds in sectional. They are trash, disgusting, disrespectful, and I don’t recommend anyone going there tbh. I am from out of state and have family and friends in Ohio, travled to cedar point to spend time with family. We just wanted some thin steak to grill and make some tacos, they didn’t have that type. Which we asked and they said no, so we said it’s okay we will go to Walmart, the cashier yelled our meat is better being snotty and rude. Like nobody was even saying anything to them, she just needs to mind her own business. Either way, not a fan, just nasty horrible...

I know E-Z Shop is "all the rave" in this area. I DO NOT see what all the hype is about. Their ground chuck is dry & tastes like there is some kind of filler in it. I've witnessed their employees put their bare hands in the ground chuck & serve it up to customers (during Covid). We purchased a decorative picture sheet cake from them for a very special event a few days ago. We should've went to Ideal Bakery like I wanted to. The image on the cake had VERY VISIBLE cracks running through it ( I took pictures). The cake was also very dry! I personally did not purchase the cake or I would of had them re-do it or give me my money back. E-Z Shop needs to stick with meat (maybe) or hire another baker/cake decorator. Love this place..Drive thru or walk in..great polite and right on top of your orders, A 1 service and home made deli, and even greater fresh meats, can come with/or without their special spices, or use your own. Good candies, cakes, pies, and breads. Even have home grown fruits and vegtables in summer. And cheese's of all kinds ! Great prices, great deals,great quality..rather it be meats, deli,or breads! Along with being great, polite, and suggestions on how to make, cook,or marinade...your purchase's ! AND..it's right on the river, so you can pack up some goodies and go 🎣 for those Waleyes and such....
