I love this place. My wife and I go every Saturday and Sunday to browse the aisles. One of the things we loved about the old Sunnyside Swap Meet was that it was actually that, a swap meet. That was until they began allowing vendors with brand new merchandise, or vendors who brought boots and other clothing up from Mexico. It ruined the experience. The New Sunnyside started out like the original, but has now begun to start down that path again. What made Sunnyside unique, is that it was essentially one big block sale, bringing all of the yard sales to one spot. That has started changing over the last few months. My wife and I noticed more and more "vendors" selling their goods. The place is starting to resemble Cherry Auction. We stopped going there because we didn't want to be bombarded by store-bought items. If there is anything negitive about the sunnyside swapmeet its the traffic getting in. Im sure as they grow in the future they will address the bottle neck situation at the entrance. Over all any swapmeet is only as good as the managment and the venders . The managment is top notch and the venders for the most part are repeat swap space renters that means they are there week after week so if there is a problem they are usually there to make it right. Being bigger is not...
