If only there was an option for negative stars. LIARS I went to exchange a new utensil. It still has stickers and not used. The 1st girl i communicated with at the return counter told me when did i purchase the item. I showed her the receipt and it was past there 48Hrs policy. Agreed if that's the policy that's fine. But then they she and another staff who joined the conversation mentioned that we have to go to the original location where we purchased the utensil pointing the 48hrs policy on face.
To be clear India Bazaar does not have the policy that u cannot return products to other store. This i tried to confront them why is that. They said that's the policy.
To this 3 more staff members joined another male and 2 females. At this point 5 staff members are trying to convince me to which i asked show me the policy. They denied that. I was really mad at this point as my point who has hard time walking was already inside the store, and i did not feel spending anther minute there. My dad asked them to show the policy or write it somewhere. they denied that.
Then another lady (staff) joined the conversation saying NO no, we can return the goods from another India bazaar store but not after 48Hrs. I asked her then why the other 5 employees were trying to convince me. I told them i don't want to return the product but just want them to get there facts right.
She said we never said that. Then i asked to see the store manager. First they said he/she is not here. Then the lady who was already there said she is the store manage but refuses to give her name or business card.
Then another girl came as said raise music in the store because apparently we were being loud. Also, the employees who earlier said that they cannot return products from another store suddenly changed there story.

We were just checking on the kitchen utensil and one employee just came to tell us don’t touch it.. the employee she look like South Indian came to yell at me and said don’t open the item like that. I was going to buy it and I just wanted to check if it works or not before buying it because once I buy it they don’t return it. So as a customer it was my right to check on it if the item works because once I buy it they don’t return it. And she said some customers just leave the item Iike that. I told her we are not like that. And she said “ I don’t trust anybody” she said you can buy or not I don’t care. Then I said how will your business run if you don’t trust anybody. She said don’t worry about anything. I was telling her I won’t do what other customers will do but she still was so rude. And we went to tell another employee about the experience at the front and the rude lady came from back she was still yelling. Never experienced any customer service like that before in other grocery stores. I also worked at customer service and customer service was always our priority. It was very bad experience we went there to get lot of items but we didn’t even finish buying all of those items. Read moreHad a terrible experience with the customer service. I went to the express check out to inquire about a product. The place was not that busy at 9.30 pm on 07/19. I’m assuming it was the manager that was standing at the express check out lane, but he was laughing and talking with another employee instead of helping me and just kept talking and ignoring me. So I ended up just leaving the counter because there was no point in standing at the counter. I picked up a few items and went to regular counter to pay and there was a customer in front of me at the counter checking out, so I waited for my turn. Then, the same guy earlier that was rude walked all the way over from the express counter to the line I was waiting in and started asking me to go fast and pay for my items. There was clearly somebody checking out at the counter in front of me and no other counter was open, I have no idea why he was rushing me so aggressively like that, keep in mind, it’s 9.30pm and they close only at 10:30 - 11. On top of his, he was only talking to me like this when there was a whole line behind me. He didn’t seem to act like that with them.
