When you live in a small town, Fruithurst, and your choices are limited, then I'm sure the closest place for something to cook might be a Dollar General. Unfortunately for me this is one of three options closest to home. There seems to be a new one everyday. They have food items but limited to 4 isles of different items ranging from peanut butter to Doritos and a cooler with milk, eggs, beer, ice cream, and frozen 1lb logs of hamburger. I don't recommend shopping here for a regular grocery run but it's allowed me to cook a meal for my stepson on multiple occasions. I won't get into the circumstances that have me doing this but please take it from me don't buy your meals by the day here! It's super expensive and nothing nutritional in the store.    Read moreVery rude manager on duty at this store on 11/02/19. She was rude to employees and customers. She didn't want to abide buy the signs pertaining to current sales that she had hanging in her store. When she realized the customer was in the right she yelled at her employee to go rip the signs down. The employee was very kind and respectful but not the manager. The manager was talking out loud prior to this about wishing she wasn't there and that she had a job interview some place else the previous week and was hoping to hear from that job. I always find the Fruithurst store so clean without leaving much stock all over the way The Ranburne store is also a very favorite .
