As a responsible parent, it is crucial to exercise caution when selecting a child care center or individual caregivers for your children. If your child is currently enrolled in this center, it is advisable to reconsider your decision, if you have not already done so.
Having personally visited this center and observed its operations, it is important to pay attention to the critical commentary that you come across. The center will attempt to divert your attention from these significant details by making false promises and defensive statements to cover up any concerns you have.
One notable aspect is the lack of visual and informational content available online regarding the center. Their website is designed in a way that requires prospective parents to visit in person and make an appointment to view the facilities rather finding out what they need to know on their own, which helps them to cover up the negative aspects of the center that might not be noticed right away.
For instance, upon visiting the center, you can observe stained and dirty rugs, disrepair and disorder of toys, chipped paint on walls, holes in the building near the playground, unclean bathrooms and changing tables, and numerous other hazardous and unsightly conditions that are unsuitable for children to be exposed to on a daily basis.
Furthermore, the school doors are left unlocked throughout the day, and there are no security measures in place for any of the rooms. This lack of security allows anyone to enter the premises at any time, posing risks to the safety of the children.
Cleanliness and sanitation standards in the classrooms are also subpar, despite any claims made otherwise. The center clearly does not prioritize the health and safety of the children or their surroundings.
Children are often placed in rooms over-capacity with limited staff available to adequately care for them. For example, it is inappropriate for an eighteen-year-old to be solely responsible for overseeing a group of 15+ children. There is also no regular adherence to a structured schedule or lesson plan because the center hires staff to simply watch children rather than educate or nurture them.
Additionally, there is a constant turnover of staff and management, which further disrupts the well-being of the children because of the frequent changes in caregivers and the lack of properly trained personnel.
The current director herself lacks the necessary education and training for the position. Her unprofessional communication skills when addressing parental concerns shows that she does not handle matters effectively or tactfully. Her primary focus appears to be maintaining an image of a well-functioning center rather than actual fixing route issues they are having.
When visiting this center, it is essential to be thorough and meticulous in your observations, despite any attempts they will make to rush you through the tour. When you ask questions, it is unlikely that you will receive honest responses, so do your own research beforehand and observe everything.
To obtain accurate information about the center, consider reaching out to other families who have had firsthand experiences here. Their accounts will provide valuable insights into the actual experiences your children may have here. It is indeed true that children frequently return home from this center with illnesses, dirty diapers, dehydration, hunger, and exposure to numerous germs due to the unsanitary and unsafe practices that are prevalent.
DCF inspection reports for this center are available online, providing factual information about their substandard standards and practices.
Avoid wasting your time and seek a better child care option for your children. While there may be limited choices in the area, it is crucial to find a center that offers higher standards of care than what is...

Read moreMy daughter had been attending this daycare since 2014 , 3 years now and nothing has changed. Same old toys literally and same old playground which offers nothing for the kids to play with or have fun at recess. Only thing I have seen change is the director and the one they have now is the worst one yet. She's running a pig pen and I feel awful for the kids I had to pull my daughter out. I had high hopes with each new director, the best one was Amber and she quite a couple months ago. Every afternoon I pick up my daughter it's disgustingly dirty , smells awful and my little girl has been complaining that she doesn't want to go because its "boring" which she has never said before. I do not recommend this daycare. It's old and not up to date for the growing little minds our children need for an easier and better future. Little Villages Preschool is by far the worst daycare in...
