We're do I even start on this prison that proclaims to be a place were they help Childern! 1st off the whole staff is liar's! They ' are deceitful people & will sale you anything for your childs admission!! I UNFORTUNATELY was a student here in 2008! And by the looks of it its still a ghetto facility, Birmingham AL has some of the most illiterate people the ignorance was very significant (VERY); Dont send your child here I was a student here & I was bullied constantly! .. MY roomates WHO WERE MUCH OLDER would often smoke weed consistently & blasted music from morning to night.. I was physically assaulted by three guys out of no where! It was a gang that we're trying to prove a point by randomly selecting me out of every one .. I told the staff my side of the story & what really happened & the only justifying thing they done was kick out the group of guys that did it! I was still dealing with there friend's that we're there! so I got my belongings & left the property! Never been back since; This facility claims they are rehabilitating Childern & preparing them for the future; But in reality the staff only wants to maintain there positions, I wish I would've sued them like someone informed me too!! But due to the lack of parental guidance and intellectual thinking I didn't (UNFORTUNATELY). Jobcorp should be thanking GOD I DIDN'T SUE THIS AWFUL LESS THE WORTHY PLACE BECAUSE ULTIMATELY YOU ALL WERE RESPONSIBLE! This place is more equivalent to a prison facility. If your child is handsome and articulate DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT SEND YIUR CHILD TO THIS PRISON...

Well job corps is amazing i took hotel and lodging back in 2016 with MS COCHRAN she is just a miricale she guided me every step of the way !! Now as a result of her and her perfect ways to train her student i manage my own hotel and work at thw renninance soon ill be making close to 90000 a year not only that i met the love of my life here. (My husband) which is now mananging a restaurant servsafe certified and took hotel and lodging as well. He room2 culinary with chef crystal and loved every minute of it. A couple of years back my son attended this Job Corps facility, when I tell you wouldn't have treated a dog the way they my son. They had bo care or concern for his well-being at all, he got into a verbal altercation with one of the staff and he was kick out at night! He was asked to leave, mind you he is from Georgia and they are located in Alabama. At the time I had no way to get to him. After my sister spoke to someone at Another Facility, we were told if they picked him up typically they can furnish him a ticket home.
