This is going to be long, but I am really very disappointed with this store. It might even be Karen-esque, but honestly it’s warranted. The super short version of it is that I would not have this problem to begin with if their sizing guide was accurate. The 3-6 month size would NOT fit a 17 lb baby when it barely fits my 13.4 lb baby.
The short but slightly detailed version is numbered, and the more detailed version is below that:
I bought four pairs of the cotton ruffle shorts for my 4 month old daughter. The 3-6 month size does NOT go up to 17 lbs. My daughter is 13.4 lbs and barely fit in the shorts now (and I wanted them for summer). Rep advised me to get the 3-6 month size for summer. I wanted to evenly exchange the shorts for a larger size so she could wear them in the summer. Rep refused to honor the code/the price I paid and offered no solutions to make it right. It would have been a $22.63 difference. That is not a small amount of money. Literally any other store would honor the sale or provide enough store credit for it to be an even exchange. I specifically bought the shorts because of the sale. Rep did not entertain any of my own offers for a solution and I ended up asking for a full refund rather than exchange. Rep was fairly impersonal and did not care about me as an individual. Highly disappointing experience.
Okay, now for the long version:
I saw that there was a sale code for 30% off over Saint Patrick’s Day weekend. I decided to buy four pairs of the cotton ruffle shorts for my 4 month old daughter. Before buying them, I messaged a customer care member about the sizing guide. I wanted the shorts to fit her for the summer and was in between buying either the 6-9 months or 9-12 months size. I provided her stats, and since she is only 13.4 lbs, the rep told me to “definitely” go with the 3-6 month size since it goes up to 17 lbs. Since she works for the company, I trusted her. When the shorts arrived, I tried a pair on my daughter, and they were almost too small for her now. How is that even possible if the 3-6 month size fits up to 17 lbs? She is not anywhere near that. So, I asked customer care for an exchange and hoped they would honor the sale price since I was just evenly exchanging the items. They said no since the sale was over. Right, totally understand that, but I bought them during the sale. And I was not asking to use the code for other items. I simply wanted to evenly exchange the shorts for a larger size. Literally any other store would let you exchange the same item in a larger size for the sale price you paid, not make you pay full price. I tried to explain all this, and even suggested that they just provide store credit in the amount that the shorts cost full price. Still, they would not honor it. It really upset me. I ended up asking for a full refund rather than an exchange. So, they ultimately lost a sale all because they didn’t want to evenly exchange four pairs of shorts or accommodate my situation in any way. It doesn’t seem like they care about their customers. Very big shame. 100% do...
Read moreI stumbled accross MNC on a FB ad. They were running a $4.95 sale. I have never bought anything from a FB ad and thought to myself if I get scammed then I'm not out much. I placed my first order, then my second order, then my third order, and so on. You get the point. Their clothes are not only adorable, but great quality as well. I literally look at their site daily because they are always adding new items. Its pretty much all my LO wears now. I love that they are a small company semi local to me and I love supporting other small businesses because I own three myself. I will be a customer as long as my little one let's me dress her. Don't hesitate to buy and make sure you join their FB VIP group too!! Thank you MNC for all you do to keep my little girl stylish!
I am editing my review after reading through some of the other reviews today (which I hadn't done prior to ordering) The main complaint I am seeing is the customer service department. I have had a few interactions with MNC customer service. The 1st one was when I checked out and forgot to use a code. Turns out what I ordered wasn't covered under the code anyways so no harm done, but I did email them as soon as my order was placed and I received an email back right away. The 2nd time I was contacted (not because I emailed them) but because my ordered had not shipped and it was around the 2 week mark. Turns out TN had a snow storm that closed down their store. Which is a big deal when you own a small business. So instead of waiting on me to email them asking where my order was and why it hadn't shipped yet they reached out first to let me know. Every company has faults and areas to improve on so after reading the other reviews and my personal experience I can say in my experience they seem to be working on...
Read moreI am writing to share my feedback regarding the recent purchase of kids' clothes from the Chinese company Marie Nicole Clothing. Unfortunately, I am deeply disappointed with the quality of the clothes made in China and feel compelled to express my concerns. Upon receiving the order, I found that the quality of the clothes was significantly below my expectations. The materials used appeared cheap and the overall craftsmanship was subpar. As a discerning customer, I believe that it is important for children's clothing to be of high quality, ensuring both comfort and durability. Regrettably, the items I received did not meet these standards. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize the importance of supporting products made in the USA. As proud Americans, we value the quality and craftsmanship that our country has to offer. By purchasing domestically-made products, we not only support our local economy but also promote the values and standards that our nation upholds. I believe it is crucial to prioritize American-made goods...
