Pomona Golf — Local services in Galloway Township

Went here April of 2023. I've had issues here in the past with old, rude staff who treat younger customers terrible. I was told at 6:30 stop golfing and bring the cart back. So at 6:24 we finish a whole and are packing up our stuff. I have a woman driving over to us in a golf cart yelling "hey guys it's 6:30 I told you 6:30 you had to bring the cart back". It's 6:25 now at this point, as a grown man I can tell time... So I say "it's 6:25 , my phone says I have five minutes. " She proceeds to ask me why I was so rude... When I asked to play nine wholes your comment was " you better be back by 6:30" I've been golfing here for 5 years, I'll never go back. Save your money and spend a few dollars more for green tree, twisted dunes or Renault. A bit pricier but worth it. In five years this place won't be in business for how they treat their younger customers. It's a shame for a nice small course it's worth the price but not for what you have to deal with. Such a shame. They shouldn't have rude people working here, I asked how her day was today and she said "eh it's a day" cheer up...

It was kinda getto , counter woman ripped us off because she was doing multiple things and a guy cut in as she was helping us and short changed us 10 bucks and when we told her she gave us attitude and was frantic and at this point I said f it this place needs all the money it can get ! The golf course was confusing and grass was messy . At the last hole some guy tried fighting with us when he was two holes down when we were just finishing up and he was screaming what you guys doing ! I ignored him and said we are done and drove off in the golf cart . Definitely will not be returning , lived near this place my whole life and always felt it was getto and thought it would be better after being remodeled by restaurant impossible but I guess they didn’t listen to his advice cause menu was nothing special . Overall It’s a good golf course if you wanna be single out and bored and don’t wanna pay a lot of money for a good golf course . The staff was nice compare to the counter woman and people who...

It was a nice course, shorter holes so you get to use your irons a lot. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of the staffers came over mid game and gave my father a handicap flag, as he was having a harder time getting around due to a knee replacement. There are no water features on this course so less of a chance to loose balls. But there are plenty of shady wooded areas so you don't have to stand in the heat. After your game be sure to stop in for some food, all standard fair, it was all good. Just know that alcohol is for members only, they also don't take card but there is an ATM in the restaurant. Overall we will be back next year. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to put a water station by hole 5 or 6. We only brought one bottle and had finished midway through 5 and a refill would...
