Crane Orchards U-Pick and Corn Maze — Local services in Ganges Township

This was our first time visiting Cranes in Fennville & we can honestly say we won't be back!!! The wait staff was very unfriendly & acted as though they were all mad about something. The service & food was mediocre at best. My husband & I shared the Pot Roast Sandwich, which was ok, and then we each had a piece of pie. The Chocolate Pecan was ok, but nothing special. I had the Rhubarb/Raspberry, which was also ok, but I think my bottom crust was left in the pie plate, as I had only filling with the top crust. The waitress never bothered to ask how our food was or if we would like anything else...just brought us our bill...never said " thank you" or anything! It's almost as though "Cranes" has become so we'll known that they don't feel the need to make their customers feel welcome! Worst apple U-pick experience ever!!! The old lady(which after reading other reviews looks like her name is Sandy and she is the owner) drove something over to us and yelled at me and my family for apparently kicking, throwing, and wasting apples. She then also told my sister(who has 2 kids;not teens) to control her kids. She then kept watching us and we spoke our main language (which isn’t English) and walked away. 10 minutes later another older man drove up to us and asked us too leave after the lady had told him we had kept doing those things. We left (gave our apples to them) and are now here with our plans for the day ruined. Also to note we all have darker skin and again after reading other reviews looks like there is a common trend of racism and kicking people out for it. 🌳🍒 Crane Orchards U-Pick Review 🍒🌳

We’re visiting from Florida — land of mangos and tropical fruit — but one thing we don’t have? Cherries! This was our first time ever picking cherries off the trees, and it was an unforgettable experience.

The orchard is absolutely beautiful, the trees were full, and the atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly. There’s something so satisfying about picking fruit straight from the source, and we had a blast filling our buckets with the freshest, juiciest cherries we've ever had.

Huge thank you to the team at Crane Orchards for making this such a fun and special day! You made us feel welcome, and we’re walking away with sweet memories (and a ton of cherries). 🍒❤️

Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area — especially fellow Floridians who've never seen a cherry tree...
