Country Connection — Local services in Garner

This store needs to be more responsible when it comes to who is driving their store vehicles and always have an adult for supervision. This morning I was on my way to work when one of their huge trucks pulled out in front of me and another vehicle. Not only did they pull out in front of us when they should have waited to pull out, but they pulled out and blocked both lanes on 70 and stopped for about 5 seconds before actually continuing and moving the truck into just one lane. It looked like two males around the age of 17, the driver was a blonde kid, and they were both laughing hysterically. Meanwhile, me and the other vehicle had to squeal to a stop just to not hit their truck.

They need to monitor their employees who drive huge vehicles like this (and clearly give them better training before allowing them to drive them if they can't handle it) let alone allow two teenagers to drive them. Extremely dangerous and irresponsible of this...

Went into the store today 7/8/23 because I heard that this store was great, I was treated get a lot of ladies in the store. I asked about the water boots and they just pointed me to them. No one came over to help and wanted to answer question. They all stood up at the counter and wasn’t helpful to myself or some of the Hispanic customers. I bought the shoes after I googled my questions but then after my experience I just returned them. It’s sad that it appears that if someone is of color that they do t get help but others get full service, shown things and even walked around the store. I will never shop there again and also I will be telling others. It was my first time in the store and it was as an unforgettable experience. I did however, state to the cashier that rang my up that it was sad I had to google my own questions and help myself. Race shouldn’t matter and if we get cut we bleed the same color blood, even in the dark we are...

I visited four western stores from Durham, Raleigh and Ganer Saturday and I found everything i wanted at Country Connections which was my last stop on the way to Kinston. Next time I will just save some time and just go straight to This store. Everyone was so helpful from finding my perfect hat and even taking the time on a busy day to shape it for me with their hat steamer. Me and another found 3 boots also between us two that were a quarter of the price because it was discounted. I found a belt buckle that I havent seen that size that I wanted and the coolest Roar Buckle shirt I ever seen. This place has it all and have the perfect staff to make the shopping experience exciting and fun....
