Sierra market deli — Local services in Gates

We bought some sandwiches, used her microwave, got a variety of drinks. She had a great variety of snacks and beverages to choose from. Not just the "run-of-the-mill" quickie shop snacks.

The woman that owns it has run the counter for over 20 years. Very friendly and humble. She explained the fresh deli kitchen is no longer available because there was a forest fire that created hardships on many of the businesses out there.

She was helpful and I was more than happy to support her business. It's in the middle of a long drive and I was starving. My friend and I both found satisfying alternatives and got a gallon of spring water for the road with our, heated sandwiches, spicy pickles, and CBD...

Driving thru, we stopped to buy drinks & snacks. We asked to use the restroom, & cashier said it's for customers only. I asked if the drinks & snacks qualified me as a customer, or did she want payment 1st before using the restroom? She mumbled, but said we could use restroom. I asked if each of us needed to pay individually to use restroom, and she said not necessary. I paid $12.37 for soda and 2 bags of chips and left after being insulted about being a paying customer. ...
