We hired Mabuhay Austin for our event, and Dan, the owner, was absolutely phenomenal! Not only did he work within our budget, but he also put so much thought and care into curating a custom menu that matched both the theme and audience of our event. When he mentioned appetizers, I expected small bites, but we were blown away by the hearty, flavorful tacos and sides he served – they were practically meals in themselves!

The dessert? Unreal. Absolutely delicious.

Dan was incredibly well-prepared, bringing everything needed for cooking, serving, and even cleaning up afterward. He also ensured there was more than enough food for our 150+ guests, despite us initially giving him a lower headcount.

chef dan came to my home to prepare a kamayan for a few of my filipino friends & friends who have never had any filipino food before. putting together the menu was easy as he is communicative, attentive & made good recommendations. unfortunately, my filipina grandmother passed away a few days before the kamayan & i was unable to attend her funeral. chef dan was so kind & dedicated the menu to her and also added her favorite dish to the menu so that my group and i could enjoy. the dinner was bittersweet as her passing was so recent but he made such great company to our guests and made the experience personal and memorable for me. he talked to everyone & made it a very pleasant experience for all. those who never had filipino food before loved it & for the tough critics in the crowd the food was well received! thank you chef dan for the...
