I've been using this company for around 6 years and have not had any issues. Well, this week, whoever is answering the phones has been super rude. I've never had to be at my house in order to get my tank filled and now I have to be. When I asked about leaving the invoice on the tank like they usually do, it was like I offended her or something. What is the point of online bill pay if I can't use it?? She was super rude with me when I was trying to give her to percentage of my tank. I had to go outside to look but I was clearly wasting her time. I don't usually fill it all the way but apparently that's the only option now. 2 days now of rudeness. This place is operated to the lowest standards I’ve ever seen. (This review is based on multiple transactions with these people.) Who knew that getting a propane bottle filled could be a hassle. Not to mention the customer service being a joke, and the hours closing at 1pm. (Even if you show up at 12:48- you won’t be helped) This place charges a price per bottle not per how much is filled. So if your bottle is half filled don’t waste your time getting it filled because you’ll just be ripped off. Take the extra five mins to get to the tractor supply in gatesville, you will be better...

Went there Friday, 2/26/2021. Got there at 12:20. Guy was there and told me he didn't have time to fill my tank. (small 7.5 gallon) It would have took 5 minutes. Told me to go to Tractor Supply. I will live in Gatesville the rest of my life. I had been going to Star Tex and only Star Tex. Guess 5 minutes for a life long customer isn't worth the business. But I will take something from Star Tex. I will take his advice and go to Tractor Supply. TS now has a new life long customer and Star Tex just lost one. Goodbye Star Tex, Hello...
