The last several times I have had my tires rotated and balanced there have "issues". I get a call breathlessly stating there is some issue or another, and "oh my, oh my, we can't rotate and balance my tires." Im not asking for the moon, please just rotate and balance my tires, please.

This time there was "thread wear concerns" and because of it they could not rotate and balance my tires. Oddly enough the recommended service email, that was sent as proof of why, stated that my tires needed balanced. Odd.

When I called and spoke to the shop manager he reluctantly agreed to rotate and balance the front tires only, but only after questioning how he could rotate only the front tires.

The vehicle has offset wheel and tire sizes front to back and the work order specifically says this and requests the tires be rotated side to side, because this has been an issue previously.

In all, the appointment process by phone is painful, and now on multiple occasions there have been issues trying to merely get the free balance and rotate performed.

Even though I have been using Farm and Fleet for tire mounting and balancing for 30 years, I am likely going to go elsewhere next time.

It used to be a very reasonable and relational place to do business with. Now it is like the technicians are terrorized by the worst aspects of hand wringing corporate...

If you like fair to great customer service this is not the place to go. If you want rude, lazy, and awful customer service then this is the place for you. The automotive department is severely lacking in people skills. I asked if they could patch a tire, employee stated he wouldn't even look at it until Tuesday because that was when he had a next open appointment. I told him there's no point in making an appointment if they can't do anything with it. He still stated that he would not look at it until Tuesday. I told him i could put it back on after they patched it. Still didn't think I was worth his time to get it fixed. I would've bought a new one if he thought it couldn't be patched. The thing that gets me is they had 3 guys there and only one working in the shop. It would've taken 30mins to patch the tire, but its all about the money to them. Went in for tire rotation and a brake check . A simple $35.00 bill turned into them saying I had over $ 2000.00 worth of stuff that needed attention right away, besides saying need new tires which I had 2 other very trusted mechanics look at before bringing it in and they said our vehicle was in great condition.
