Last time I came here, was for swim practice for my husband’s up and coming Naval basic training in January 2022. I tried calling to make sure pool was open and pool hours. No one answered. My toddler has been taking swimming lessons and I just wanted to keep the momentum outside of classes. I drove here, which is not too far from where we live. We played at the playground for a little. It’s not really for toddlers unless they are brave. As we walked aside the building, I noticed the pool being half drained and kiddie pool dirty. I only went inside to get info about how long it’s been out of order and when it will be back. The girls were short and cold. This girl was on the defense about how long it’s been closed and tried to tell me that I was lying about the last time I was there. Saying it’s been closed since COVID. As someone said WAP was a very well kept secret on southside side in Fulton Co. The fees are reasonable. Most activities are free for seniors 55 and older, except water aerobics everybody has to pay which I do wish they would charge us seniors a very minimal amount instead of the $45.00 plus processing fee. Read moreA caution for anyone reserving a pavilion. Though the listings like the one pictured below may claim that a pavilion has electricity, it is not guaranteed. I reserved a pavilion and found out upon arrival that the electricity didn’t work and there is nobility that maintains it to address the issue.
