We stayed with Geronimo Winds for 3 years. We had a great relationship with our property manager as he always came to assist whenever we needed and never left us hanging. This review here is moreso for Geronimo Winds as a property and the integrity of their business. Within our time here of the three years and moving into a larger unit after our first year (the one floor units are very small - do not recommend for a family with a child over the age of 4), 3 a/c units failed, a fridge failed, and flooding presented on both properties. Both units also had water leaking through the windows with each storm as they are so aged, we would have to clean up after each thunderstorm. The door seals did not work either as water would flood in from the front and backdoor with each storm to where we would prep the doors with towels to ensure it did not seep through. We even bought door seals on amazon, however they would not fit with the doors they have at Geronimo Winds. With all of this being said, be prepared to never see your deposit again. We never anticipated or expected to receive ours entirely since we have pets that were puppies during our stay here, however, the integrity of Geronimo Winds and/or their vendors is what is concerning as all of these items presented after our walk through that I am certain were not true. We are a family of integrity and have no issue admitting when something is wrong on our side, but the fact they refused to even look into the additional $400-$600 outside of what was discussed during the final walk through is what is concerning. So glad we are no...
Read moreI lived at Geronimo Estates for six months (Feb–July 2025), and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing — especially in unit 125A.
From the start, the apartment had a strong foul odor, which I reported immediately. It smelled like something had died inside. Maintenance came out three or four times, each time claiming they didn’t notice anything. On the final visit, I opened the refrigerator while the maintenance worker was present, and the smell became so overpowering that even he finally acknowledged it.
Flooding was a recurring issue in both the living room and master bedroom during heavy rainfall.
When I moved in: • The refrigerator shelves were held together with black and clear tape • There were persistent maintenance issues, totaling 8–9 separate complaints
When I texted a property contact about my deposit, he complained of a strong odor — the same odor that had been there since day one and told me the unit needed to professionally clean.
Overall, I cannot recommend Geronimo Estates based on my experience, and I strongly advise against moving...
Read moreThe new company that took over Geronimo Townhomes is horrible and only want money out of you. I had reached out about my broken dishwasher several times and they never cared to fix it. Then I moved out and they charged me for it. I cleaned the apartment RIGHT in front of the owner and she yelled and told me it wasn’t good enough. I am a young renter and she fully took advantage of my fiancé and I. I’m grateful that I never have to deal with them again, and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Not even my...
