Icon Poly — Local services in Gibbon

Can't figure this business out.... Placed an order and was told they would get a shipping quote and get back with me. After 2 days I emailed to get an update...no response. Called on the third day and spoke to Daniele. She said she would have to check with a local customer before she could sell me the items!!!!!!? So she had to find out if a local customer would allow me to buy Icon Poly's product. Guess the resin fumes are getting to them.

This is day 5 with another email sent and no response. It must be nice to be able to pick and choose customers.

My opinion is don't waste your time on Icon Poly.

I spoke with Chelsea and the project is on going for a least another year, and to keep the integrity of the project we will not sell individual turtle sculptures.

After our communication we have noticed that you left a review on google, we would like to kindly ask you are not a customer of ours that you would remove that...

I do not recommend this business for your 3D project. The process started smoothly enough but only went downhill from there. I found myself contacting the company on several occasions to get an update on the progress of my project. Finally, they told me my project was behind a much larger project they were working on Jensen the several month delay. When I finally received my 3D figurines, the paint job was extremely low quality and then they placed a high gloss finish over the top that made the final look even more atrocious. I had my high school daughter repaint two of the figurines which made an enormous improvement. When I addressed the issue with my icon poly contact, she would only offer the solution of having me purchase two more figurines and painting them myself. She reminded me that I had accepted their painting and finishing recommendations, so it was my fault that they turned out so poorly. I paid a premium for these figurines, and got a cheap...

We used Icon Poly on a public art project with Loggerhead Turtles...we got 10 sculptures from them which ended up raising over $60,000 for community non-profits. Their customer service was excellent throughout the process and the product was perfect for what we needed. As this is headed towards becoming an ongoing project, we will be working...
