Leesure Lanes — Local services in Giddings

As far as bowling goes, these are my favorite lanes. The lanes are sometimes a bit oily but better than dry wood. The approach gives just the right amount of slide & isn't sticky from a bunch of heathens in the making running around spilling drinks and food everywhere while their "parents" ignore them. In the parents defence, the babysitter (the TV & their school teachers) probably didn't get to come do any parenting for them. The food is tasty and the menu has a nice little spread of fried, heart-clogging wonderfulness finger foods that will surely soak up some of the beer. Of course there are burgers, sodas, and other goodies as well. There is a pool table in a jukebox and this would have been five stars if they still had it laid out the same way they did back in the day where they were four or five tables and all kinds of arcade games but I guess that's gone by the wayside. This is old school joint were the beers cold and cigarettes are smoked like back in the day before everything was bad...

Someone put a one star review on here for absolutely no reason. I've been going here for a couple months and I love the place. Best prices I've ever seen. Everyone is extremely nice and it's got a good vintage feel to it. It's an awesome place to spend time with your family and the food is awesome. Smells terrible of cigarette smoke, this place is still allowing smoking indoors with no ventilation at all. Their AC wasn't working well enough to have full lanes of people, it was so hot in there.
