10/04/25: This is our regular stop on our way to our winter boondock site. These folks are kind and amazing. The RV park is clean, organized and easy to get around. All the sites are LONG and spacious. HIGH recommend this RV Park. The place was sparsely occupied as the winter season hasn't started yet. I understand they have also started a dog rehome and rescue as so many dogs seem to be dumped off in the town. Rescue a new family member if you can. 6/15/24: Passing through and had a reservation for tonight. It is roasting hot, 113 degrees. Check in in the summer is 1pm so plan accordingly. Staff is friendly and helpful. We are a Class A motorhome, they gave us a gravel spot that we could easily pull into, hookup and leave tow vehicle attached. Spacious RV park with room between each RV. Sonora RV has pool, showers and laundry. Everything is clean and well maintained. Very popular snowbird winter home. It is our second time here and definitely a preferred stop when travel in this area. 1/2022: Easy to deal with, if busy they call you back! Easy check in. They let us check in two hours early as our spot was already open. They escorted us to our site and made sure we were all set up. Clean. Spacious spots, they will be full by nightfall but we're not crowded. Friendly helpful staff. In winter, best to call a few days ahead to reserve if you know your plans. Cancel policy needs...

If your expectation of a park is to be treated as if your happiness and comfort are the most important goals, then this is the place for you. I made arrangements to stay for ten days. My experience was so enjoyable that I not only extended once, but twice. This was taken care of without any fuss, and I was even allowed to stay in my original spot, even though I let them know that I had no problem moving if needs be. They took care of it all. The spaces are wonderfully large with a tapering that gives you a true sense of privacy on either side. The grounds are continuously kept up in a non instrusive way, and the bath house and pool are impeccably clean. It's obvious that the employees take pride in their mastery. There are activities all week long, and the owner sends out messages to the nightly visitors so that everyone feels welcome. I found that the return visitors had no qualms about singing the praises of staying seasonally, and they were all very inviting and friendly. This is a very comfortable, relaxing, and safe 'community' that is truly an oasis in the desert. Whether you're travelling alone, or with your favorite pet(s), or with your children, this is a very welcoming place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Kudos to the Sonoran Desert RV Park Family, and thank you for a wonderful time. I can't...

The park is located a few miles east of Gila Bend. There is pavement all the way including inside the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are in very good. condition

Our site, 604, was a gravel based pull through that was very wide and very long. Services (30/50 amp, water, sewer and cable) were to the left side. Distancing is very good for a rural park. Most sites had a Young shade tree as a privacy barrier. Each site has a table but NO fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was clean neat and tidy with a very minimal amount of dust for a desert park.

The park included wifi worked very well but we did not access the cable TV. We did not use the washrooms or showers or the pool but we checked and found them modern and clean.

There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. The resort amenities are numerous. The pool looked amazing. Pickle Ball is obviously popular. There are three dog runs including one with real grass if that’s what it takes for your dog to do it’s business. We found this park to be a very nice overnighter. We paid $60.00 per night (inc tax) and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in...
