Arrowhead Transit — Local services in Gilbert

Using the Dial-A-Ride is a catch 22 situation. I’ve missed 5 medical appointments. Two were because the bus picked me up 15 to 30 minutes late picking me up. I got to the clinic, they refused to see me, and my insurance was still charged for the appointment. The other three appointments I missed because the bus never came to pick me up.

Lately, whenever I’ve called the bus, I have had to deal with the broken record excuse that they are short handed. I personally don’t care about the problems that they caused for themselves with their vaccine mandates. What is the point of calling the service if they can’t provide a consistent or quality service?

Every single time I call, they are always full up and can't take anymore callers. When I called the person back today, I got a lesson on public transportation that I should call earlier than noon. I get medical rides through my medical insurance and they have scheduled me with Arrowhead in the past. At those times the driver either didn't show up at all (3:30am pick-up time) or they came an hour late (after calling and complaining to my insurance company) and the two times I actually had to ride with them the driver fell asleep on the road so many times we almost crashed into a semi and we rode the rumble strip 30% of the time. Once again I've been scheduled with them again for Friday and I'd almost rather walk the 120miles than get in a vehicle with another arrowhead transit driver but I guess...

An obviously very cruel driver just blew past me as I waved my arms in the air and whistled for him to stop. I wasn't aware that the bus stop at pine mill court is not the mailboxes, therefore I was a half a block away from the "technical" bus stop with 2 large laundry sacs, one on my back, one sac I was dragging in hand I also had my backpack on my front, along with my purse.
