D's Doghouse n More — Local services in Gilmer

Absolutely loved everything about this place. My one wish is for the dogs to have a grassy option for outside play and potty time. (Currently, there is a concrete pad with turf rugs/mats, which is good!) But I am sure with time, this will be a potential future upgrade for this facility. The workers here are AMAZING and have true hearts for the animals. We loved the wifi camera add-on option while we were on a weeks vacation out of town! Gave me so much peace of mind. We also got text message updates with images, and I thought that was spectacular customer service. Deserae and her team are a notch above the rest in this area. Great!!!! They kept our 2 for 8 nights while we were away on vacation. Everyone there is so nice and comforting. We was so nervous because they had never been boarded before but they did just fine. D took very good care of them and updated me with pictures and told me how they were doing and all the fun they were having almost daily. When we picked our babies up they were very happy with tails wagging. They both got baths before we picked them up and smelled so good and were so soft. D even washed all their bedding because my boys are naughty and pee in everything. Highly recommend. Will definitely let them stay there again. The storms this past Thursday forced us out of our home due to no power. Both my furbabies were unable to stay at my moms with us due to dog aggression. I called Deserae and she immediately met me up at the Doghouse to get my babies situated. She offered an emergency special for pricing and made sure that even though they were without power as well, that the babies had an extremely cool environment with constant air flow and circulation. Even got to go up and have some playtime with them! She sent me updates even when she simply moved an AC unit in for them!
